When integrated into the SMA Energy System alongside a solar electric system equipped with an SMA inverter, it offers a perfectly synchronized and expandable setup. The Sunny Home Manager 2.0 oversees the charging process, ensuring that surplus energy is directed to your electric vehicle rather than the utility grid. Through the SMA Energy App, users can remotely monitor system data and conveniently control vehicle charging via smartphone.
The SMA EV Charger 22 enhances energy utilization by initiating single-phase charging at 1.3kW and smoothly transitioning to three-phase charging with higher solar outputs.
Furthermore, the SMA wallbox is compatible with third-party inverters when used with a Smart Meter and the SMA Sunny Home Manager 2.0.
The EV Charger by SMA is a versatile solution compatible with all standard electric vehicles and offers three charging modes. It can easily integrate into new or existing PV systems and comes with a 5-year warranty. With automatic phase-switching and fast charging capabilities, including a boost function for up to 22kW charging, it ensures quick and efficient charging.
